We’ve all been taught that what’s on the inside is much more important than what’s on the outside. But contrary to what the experts say, I believe what’s on the outside just might be as important (or even more important) than what’s on the inside.
For example, my favorite thing to acquire when I travel, besides memories, is bath gel. I will examine 6-8 different brands before landing on the bath gel, or gels, I want. Bath gels are basically the same, but what makes them different is that they often come in a variety of scents and packaging. And those scents and packaging are exactly what I respond to every time. A smart company understands this buyer behavior and spends heavily on creating the best buyer experience from how the bath gel smells to how the bottle is shaped and labeled.
When you walk into an attorney’s office, the attorney will respond first to how you look, speak, walk and sit as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Only if you pass that first impression test will he even learn how well you can develop his medical-related cases.
I’m just sayin’
