The most common question I get is “Vickie, what’s the first thing I need to do after I’ve passed my CLNC® Certification Exam?” When they ask, I know they’re looking for that magical laundry list for becoming a successful CLNC® consultant.
Frankly, I really don’t care what you do first. Really! When someone is successful, it’s not because they took the right first step, it’s because they took a first step and then a second step and a third. If someone isn’t successful, it’s usually not because they did everything wrong – it’s usually because they didn’t do much of anything at all.
I really mean it when I say I don’t care what you do first – just as long as the first thing you do is something BIG every day for your Certified Legal Nurse Consulting business. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step – so does every successful legal nurse consulting business.
