Renewing Your CLNC® Certification
 Following the first, successful completion of the CLNC® Exam, your certification is valid
for two years. You may extend your unexpired certification by any of the 5 methods below:
- Attend the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC®) annual conference. Each year you attend the conference extends your unexpired certification FREE for one year from the date of expiration.
- Listen to an NACLNC® Conference audio program from the Advanced CLNC® Practice-Building Programs and successfully complete the online post test. You'll extend your unexpired certification FREE for one year from the date of expiration upon successful completion of the online post test. If you purchased the VIP or Executive CLNC® Success System, you will find three NACLNC® Conference audio programs (good for three years of FREE CLNC® Certification renewal) in the Advanced CLNC® Practice-Building Programs portion of your Advanced CLNC® Toolkit. - Attend either the 2-Day Live NACLNC® Apprenticeship or purchase the NACLNC® Apprenticeship Home-Study (DVD or audio CD). Either apprenticeship extends your unexpired certification FREE for one year from the date of expiration. - Attend the Private NACLNC® Apprenticeship. Attending this exclusive apprenticeship extends your unexpired certification FREE for one year from the date of expiration. For the Private NACLNC® Apprenticeship schedule, more details or to register, call 800.880.0944 or click here.
- Successfully complete the CLNC® Certification Exam at any of the more than 350 Prometric Testing Centers or Sylvan Technology Centers. This extends your certification for one year from the date of expiration or testing. The recertification exam fee is $300. If your CLNC® Certification expires, the only way to renew it is to retake the CLNC® Certification Exam.
Many CLNC®consultants find that listening to an audio program from the Advanced CLNC® Practice-Building Programs and taking the online post test (method #2 above) is a convenient way to renew their certification.
