The Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC^®) certification process is administered by Vickie Milazzo Institute and CLNC^® is the official certification of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC^®) , which was founded by Vickie Milazzo Institute. The CLNC^® Certification was implemented in 1994.

Certification is a voluntary process that attests to your attainment of specialized knowledge. CLNC^® certification is designed for registered nurses who are seeking in-depth knowledge and continuing education in order to practice in this sophisticated and rapidly changing field.

While certification promotes and maintains quality, it does not license, confer a right or privilege upon, or otherwise define the qualifications of anyone in the legal nurse consulting field.

The NACLNC^® Certification Board

The CLNC^® Certification was developed by the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC^®) board. The board is comprised of leading legal nurse consultants throughout the country, representing the various roles and settings of the legal nurse consulting profession. The NACLNC^® board works with education design specialists and the experienced exam administrators at the Prometric Testing Centers or Sylvan Technology Centers to develop and offer the CLNC^® Certification Examination.
